“This funding will assist the Dianella campus in creating student learning areas that will inspire and support students as they progress through their schooling life,” Mr Keenan said.
“We want to give Australian students the very best education that there is and by creating areas that motivate and stimulate students we are one step closer to doing that.”
The school will carry out external works, landscaping, and site development over the next few months with an estimated completion date in January 2018. The funding will also be used for the purchase of new furniture and equipment for students.
“I am committed to improving the quality of school education for students in my electorate and this funding will guarantee local students have access to the resources they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive world,” Mr Keenan said.
The Capital Grants Program provides funding for non-government schools to improve capital infrastructure where they otherwise may not have access to sufficient capital resources.
