As the Shadow Minister for Justice, Customs and Border Protection it is my responsibility to hold the Government to account over its failure to secure Australia’s borders. Since August 2008, more than 125 boats have arrived in Australian waters illegally as a result of Rudd Labor weakening our border protection system. Only the Coalition has the resolve necessary to make the hard decisions and stop the boats from coming.
