Crime prevention, improved school facilities and safer roads part of Seven Point Plan
I recently unveiled a strong set of commitments to get more things done locally, to ensure that our area remains one of the best places in WA to live, work and raise a family.
While together as a community we have already achieved so much, there is a lot more to be done - with the issues of crime, road safety and improved school facilities among my top priorities.
I am committed to:
- Deploying extra City of Stirling Community Safety Patrols to make our community safer by cracking down on crime.
- Building the Mirrabooka Avenue and Reid Highway Overpass, and the Alexander Drive and Reid Highway Overpass.
- Installing additional CCTV cameras at Scarborough Beach, so families can enjoy the beach area in safety.
- Working to improve the facilities and services available at Scarborough Primary School and Balcatta Senior High School by upgrading IT equipment, and upgrading the Mirrabooka Senior High School apprentice area.
- Upgrading changing rooms at public sporting grounds to accommodate the growing number of women participating in team sports.
- Improving local school facilities and services so our children can have a high quality learning environment.
- Upgrading North Beach fishing platform/jetty to give safe access for anglers with disabilities.
As your local member, and as a local resident, I want to make sure that more things get done right here at home and I am more determined than ever to make ours one of the best places in Western Australia to live, work and raise a family.
